2012 OHA Convention at Niagara Falls
- The official convention rose shrub was sold out by the 800th order. All rooms at convention location are booked. Additonal locations at nearby hotels have been added to the accomodations list. Days Inn, Best Western and Comfort Inn are at the Lake St. exit on the QEW and within 15 minutes drive of the Niagara College . Tours and Seminars list has been sent out by District 9 to the Societies.
District 8 News
- Markdale Horticultural Society had a great celebration for their 100th Anniversary April 28, 2012 which was well attended .
- Your Society site at gardenontario.org has a link in the News tab to the Garden Share news letter a list of highlights from the OHA Spring 2012 AGM meeting
- The following Societies were acknowledged for their websites at the D8 AGM; Chesley, Kincardine and Markdale. Honourable mention was given to: Neustadt, Southport, Goderich and Auburn. The Society websites will continue to be assessed and judged for the coming year.
